Katherine Ostrow, She/Her

Katherine is a Clinical Social Work Associate with Master’s degrees in both Social Work and Early Childhood Special Education.

Katherine’s practice reflects her belief in human beings’ innate capacity for healing, and the transformative potential of the therapeutic relationship. Centering empathy, compassion, and respect for each individual’s unique lived experience, Katherine offers a warm and supportive space in which clients can feel seen, heard, and understood.

In developing an understanding of how our past shapes our present, we are better able to identify and address patterned responses that no longer serve us. Katherine guides clients through a process of connecting with their internal landscape, untangling the complex threads of their personal story, and moving towards meaningful change in alignment with their goals and values.

Katherine’s work draws on elements of cognitive behavioral therapy, narrative therapy, play therapy, mindfulness, somatic experiencing, and EMDR. Katherine works with adults, children, adolescents, transitional-aged youth, and their families, and specializes in anxiety, depression, challenges related to the neurodivergent experience, difficulty with social emotional regulation, behavioral challenges and support for transitions.

In her personal life, Katherine is an artist, a yoga teacher, and an outdoor devotee.
