Gail Hardman-Woung, LCSW, She/Her

Gail is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with more than 25 years experience working with children and adults from the hardest places. She is an expert in her field. Gail is trained in traditional therapies, but  favors right brain treatment protocols with high rates of efficacy such as Life Span Integration (LI), Internal Family Systems, (IFS) Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR). Gail has advanced training in these protocols. She holds certifications in Attachment, and Foster & Adoption Therapy.

Gail is an EMDR Consultant and a Certified Safe & Sound Clinician. Thirty years ago, Gail transracially foster-adopted three older children as a single mother.  She married and had a birth child as well.  Gail and her husband raised their children and now enjoy six  grandchildren.

After a car accident Gail was diagnosed with a traumatic brain injury (TBI), Neurofeedback was a Godsend for her. She became curious about Neurofeedback and all the ways that it was being used. Her private practice was too full to accommodate Neurofeedback so she opened Portland Neurofeedback, LLC.  March of 2020, she opened The PATH Center. These two clinics existed separately until October of 2024. Following a move, the two clinics merged at the current location.

In her free time, Gail enjoys spending time enjoying the beauty of the Pacific NW with her children and grandchildren. She enjoys exploring the tastes of many cultures and listening to music from many genres.  She also enjoys caring for the animals and gardens on her farm.
